Predition markets outperform tradition polls and expert opinion in forecasting everything from elections to product launches. In my new short paper, I introduce a novel, accessible model that shows why: even with unequal wealth or imperfect decision‑making, market prices still reflect only the distribution of information in the crowd.

Over the course of the summer period, I had the privilege to intern in Tokyo at the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) as an Artificial Intelligence Researcher under the supervision of Takeshi Takahashi and Harry Chandra. The focus of my research was on boosting the performance of interpretable neural models for use in Cybersecurity and Finance, sectors for which interpretability is a necessity. This was a fantastic opportunity for me to build upon my established foundation in the field, as well as learn more about how cutting-edge AI is shaping our future.
